• Custom Sizing & Shaping: We cut broadloom carpet or existing rugs to your specified dimensions, whether you need an oversized area rug or an uncommon shape to suit a unique layout. Our team can also fabricate elegant stair runners to fit each step and landing with precision.
• Binding & Serging: To give any cut carpet a polished finish, we offer your choice of edge treatments. Our craftsmen can apply high-quality binding tapes (in cloth, leather, or other materials) for a tailored border, or hand/machine-serge the edges with yarn for a continuous, seamless look. These finishes prevent fraying and are chosen to complement the style of the rug or carpet.
• Backing & Underlay: For certain custom rugs, we can add specialty backing or integrated padding to improve performance. Attaching a quality non-slip backing adds body to thinner rugs and keeps them lying flat and secure on smooth floors. We custom fit each backing or pad so that the rug has added support and stability without altering its appearance on the surface. Quality padding also protects flooring underneath and increases the longevity of the rug.
